Getting to Know Jesus
On Sunday mornings, we're getting to know Jesus better by exploring the Gospels (the biographies of Jesus) in the Bible. Reading the Scriptures ahead of time is a great way to get more out of the messages.

Glimpse
This month at Glimpse we are focusing on Jesus’ call in the Great Commission to “Go and make disciples”. We will be breaking down why He calls us and how we can share our faith.
Awana
March at Awana is Mission Madness Month, our mission is to support Place of Hope Ministries in St Cloud. Part of Awana is teaching kids how to SERVE Jesus by serving others. So for the month of March we will be doing a collection drive to help support Place of Hope Ministries. Several community groups at our church do various things to support this ministry and we are excited to join them on this mission. Place of Hope is a homeless shelter that is dedicated to rebuilding, repairing, and restoring lives. Place of Hope serves individuals and families by providing housing, warm meals, care supplies, job support, church, and more. They are giving people the support they need to regain stability and move forward with purpose.
We invite YOU, our church family, to join us in making a difference for Place of Hope! Items we will be collecting each week at Awana, include:
- March 4 - Toilet paper
- March 11 - Personal care items (deodorant, disposable razors, shaving cream, shampoo, conditioner)
- March 18 - Cleaning supplies (Clorox wipes, toilet bowl cleaner, disinfectant cleaner, soap)
Please join us and donate as your heart leads. We are asking clubbers to bring just 1 specific item each week, this shows what an impact we can make when we all join together. There will be a table in the lobby where you can place your donations each week if you choose to join us. This is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a church to live out our faith and serve others together.
Letter Received
We received a thank you letter from Justin and Priscilla Engelman, who have taken over care of the Steck children. Please use the link to read the letter sent to the church.
Lunch with the Pastor
Looking for a way to connect with others? If you are new or a visitor, please join Pastor Tom & Alana for lunch at their home (church parsonage - the house across the parking lot) Sunday, March 8th, at 12:15 pm. Regular attenders whose last name begins with the letters A-K are also invited to attend. Please sign up below if you plan to attend.
What is Your Next Step?
If you have attended Lunch with the Pastor but have not yet been to Starting Point, we want to encourage you to take that next step! Starting Point is a great way to find out more about the mission of Hope Central Christian Church and what it looks like to get on board with that mission.
Starting Point will be offered next at the Kimball campus on Sunday, March 15th, at 9:30am in Room 130 (downstairs next to the restrooms). Contact Chris Chambers at (320) 292-0971 if you have any questions.
Young Adult Ministry
Are you 18-30(ish) years old? Great! You know how old you are! ;-P If you are in this age group and actually reading an email, you are invited to join Eric and Amanda Loewen on March 26th at 6:00pm for our new Young Adult Ministry kickoff. Please text us if you plan to be there (320-492-1373) so we can plan for food and childcare.
Baby Shower
All ladies of Hope Central are invited to a Baby Shower for Nicole and Draven House’s baby boy. The shower will be held on Saturday, March 7th, at 10:00am in the Kimball Campus Fellowship Hall. Please RSVP by calling or texting Tracy Bruns at 320-492-5484. Nicole is registered at Target, Walmart and Amazon. Instead of cards the couple is asking for books to start a collection for their baby. Please come and celebrate this special time.
Soup & Games
In need of a night of good food, games, and laughter to get you through winter? Get in on the fun at our Soup & Games night at Hope Central.
When: Saturday, March 7th 5-9pm
Where: Hope Central, DASSEL Campus
What to bring: Soup or side to share, a few games, and your best game face
Wild Game Feed
We would like to invite you and your family to attend the 7th Annual Church Family Wild Game Feed on March 28th, 2026 in the Kimball Campus Fellowship Hall. Serving will start at 4pm. Rob Engel, a Quest for Authentic Manhood graduate at the St Cloud Correctional Facility will be the guest speaker. Please reach out to Tony Schmitt with any questions and to RSVP (320-250-7687).
Easter Service
April 5th (Easter) will be here before you know it! Who are you praying for and planning to invite? Easter is still the most likely time for anyone who is unchurched (no church background) or dechurched (previously was involved in a church, but not currently involved) to accept an invitation to church. Here are 5 tips for inviting your friends and loved ones to an Easter service.
- Ask them early - before they make other plans.
- Invite them more than once - it communicates that you are thinking about them and that you would really like to see them come.
- Offer to meet them at whichever service they would like to go to - this ensures that you will be their host.
- Be sure to tell them about the free breakfast!
- Consider texting them the service times so that they don’t forget the time.
Be sure to pray before and after you invite. Is there anything that would make Easter better than seeing your friend or loved ones walk into the gym, knowing they will hear the good news explained clearly?
Card Club
Join us on Monday afternoons for a lively round of Hand, Knee, and Foot! The group will meet every week starting March 2nd, from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM in Room 130 on the Kimball Campus.. If you have any questions, please reach out to Tony Schmitt for more information at 320-250-7687.
Ideas for AI Workshop
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has only begun to impact our day-to-day lives. We are considering holding an AI workshop at Hope Central to learn more about AI and discuss what it means for us as followers of Christ. AI is quite broad, so to narrow our focus, we're inviting you to take a brief 2-question survey. You can follow the link below..
